Yes, they created a very safe battery that can charge fast and recharge 7500 times. Ten years daily is only 3650. As for an apple watch, this thing is heavier and takes more volume than lithium polymer. Apple wants the thinnest lightest rechargeable battery, so its not a good choice. 4 hours of time keeping no problem, but a apple watch needs a lot more time between charges and doesn't need to recharge fast. Now a an ipad. hmm. maybe
