I tried to test out the energy monitor on the display audio system by pressing "car" and most of the gauges and meter indicators went black! I didn't know how fast I was going, how much fuel I had left, etc. and it took me a while to figure out how to reverse it. If you run into this problem, the instrument panel light control on the left is probably adjusted to display complete darkness. It seems like there should be some sort of safety feature to prevent something like this from happening....
