Ignition Interlock installation on Prius Prime Premium

To ensure our Prius Prime is always driven while the driver is sober we need to install a volutary ignition interlock device (a blower to ensure the driver is sober, but not a legal requirement - grandfather drives my daughter to college and soon-to-be teens driving the vehicle).

I can’t find any clear information or confirmation regarding if this is possible. The ignition interlock device manufacturer (skyfine voluntary device) thinks it should be and that it would work by interupting the power to the ignition button until the device reads a sober reading. Does anyone know for sure?
