Hello Everyone, I've been obsessing over this site for the past week ... can't believe how much I've learned already! What a great site! I just had a call from our dealer and we should have our very 1st Prius - a 2010 III (Blizzard Pearl/Dark Gray) - within the next 3-5 days! Don't know how I'm going to get to sleep until then We've had a bumpy few weeks as we backed out of a deal on a II that arrived midweek as the dealer (a different one to the one I'm going through currently) wouldn't move on the $1000 dealer-installed Simoniz paint & upholstery protection package or the $395 window etching package. The vehicle had just arrived on the truck when I got the call so it should have been easy enough for them to bypass these add-ons. Grrrr ... Everything worked out for the best though as we got our deposit back and found a new dealer in KY who is putting us in a III for $1k less OTD than we would have had the II with the first dealer. The KY dealer had to do a dealer trade to get our vehicle but fingers crossed everything will go OK next week and we'll be the proud owners of 'Optimus Prius' (can you tell we've just seen the new Transformers movie?) :rockon: Looking forward to learning more and more from everyone on Priuschat!
