My White Gen II was totaled a couple weeks back. I spent the last few weeks debating between one of the remaining 2012 Prius (Sea Glass, Model 3 with the solar pkg) and a 2013 Prius v 3. Though I am worried about the mileage - I opted for the extra room in the back, and the reclining back seats. Then the debate over color. I went into this saying I did not want another White Prius - It was in the mid 70s and Sunny yesterday when we went car shopping. The white was just so much cooler to the touch than the red I was leaning toward. So after weeks of debate - I ended up replacing a white car with a white car!
Congratulations on your new Prius v! Although my Fuelly signature doesn't back this up, you can get in the lower 50s with your v if you drive it right. My wife is the primary driver of our v ... so the mileage isn't optimal.
