Unbelievable. Hollywood Toyota in Southern CA emails people about a #3 Prius... no price... and when you call, its over $26,000... 3 grand over sticker Plus mandatory Lojack Plus mandatory other stuff they stick on. And when you point this out... they get snippy. Back in NY we call that Chutzpah. What I call it can't be published in a public forum.
i'm from new york and i agree with the unpublishable part. chutzpah has a sort of positive, get things done connotation.
Had to post this one, My wife and I are visiting Seattle this week and staying at a hotel 2 blocks away from "Toyota of Seattle". There is a used '04 Driftwood Pearl pkg #1 sitting on their lot. No extras, not even the rear wiper, Mileage not listied and I didn't have the nerve to as the dealer. Asking price on the window sticker $28.988:guns:. Now that is chutzpah!!!
I'm affraid... it's not chutzpah, but more supply and demand... look at what is listed and selling on eBay... popular car... and we are a must have society... if it's there and you don't have to wait... buy it.. that isn't directed at most of us here... but those chutzpah cars are selling... hmmm i paid $22,537.44 for my car... that is car, destination, taxes, license. also got theft tracking... so guess that was extra but i did have a choice.
