I was thinking of some kind of info sheet that could be posted in one of the windows of the Prius explaining what the car is, how it works, and why it's good for the environment. The wording wouldn't be condescending or self-righteous, but just informative. The car is so unique looking (I thank Toyota for not going the Honda "make it look like every other car we make" approach) that people walking down the street next to it might be interested. Thing is, where to post such a thing even if you wrote it in very tiny letters. A solution might be to print up some small cards and keep them in one of the myraid compartments in the car, or in your wallet, so you could give 'em out to people you run into, like traffic cops, etc. B

In 2 or 3 weeks, I'll be changing the 2 photos on the front to something from my winter collection. The speedometer photo on the back will be updated too; mileage will be somewhere in the 11,000's then. There's a mini-sheet (half size version) for the Classic Prius, but I haven't had a chance to create one for the 2004 yet. I pass out tons of website cards too (available on my website). Unlike the Info-Sheet, which is generic in nature, they provide data specific to the performance of my own Prius. People love the real-world data.
the last thing i would want is someone reading something like that on my car. i would put up a sign saying if you are interested in how this car works go to www.whatever.com for more information and STAY AWAY FROM MY CAR!!
> i would put up a sign saying if you are interested in how this car works go to That is what this business card (template available on my website) is for... [Broken External Image]:http://home.att.net/~john1701a/john1701a_website-card_front.jpg
now that would be much better. that other thing you had would have been a traffic hazard. i can just see someone on the freeway trying to figure out what the sign said...
That new version is now available. There are 2 new photos on the front and an updated speedo/odo on the back.
