Hi I'm getting a v that comes with navigation screen and electronics but without the software installed (typical in Hong Kong...). Does anyone know if the software can just be installed to get the navigation working?
Model Two comes with a screen also but the control buttons layout is different so I dobut that was just a simple software update. I have both model Two and Three. One's panel says 5410 and the other says 5411 (something like that). Also, model Three's control button has "APP" while the other says "SEEK". The screen is simply a display device and is decoupled from navigation
I wouldn't assume from a US experience that I would know what a HK distributor put into the car. A radio could be put in by the factory or by a distributor before the local dealers see the car. Hope someone local to HK can help you.
