So I got this catalytic cover for $160 at: https://www.getcatsecurity.com/p-2-piece-catalytic-converter-anti-theft-shield-2012-2017-toyota-prius-v-catscrv You will need a rivet gun or give it to someone who has like a mechanic. I let my mechanic install it. After driving it, I notice that it rattles. The bottom of the catalytic bangs on the cover only when I accelerate from a stop. The best solution I came up with was to crumple an aluminum/tin foil and wedge it firmly between the cat and the cover. I have had no issues for over a year now.
My install on my 2012 Prius v. I left out the rear plate. To prevent rattling, I made four opposing longitudinal radial bends in the plate.
