i am planning to install 3 devices in my prius.
A back up camera , back up sensor and a fake alarm.haha yes really
The back up rear view mirror needs a the positive for a acc fuse and black ground , the fake alarm needs a constant power and a acc power source
I guess the back up sensor would be connected to the reverse light.
1)Anyways , since this is a hybrid i dont know if i need to disconnect battery before using fuse taps on the fuse box, and if i disconnect the battery would i need to do something to reset the car.sometime when you take disconnect battery the car wont start , with hybrid i dont know. Or if disconnected just reconnect and everything should be good.
    2) what are good examples of acc fuse , power that only when the car is turned to acc or ignition.
3)what is good choices for constant power , like hazard lights, dome lights , radio (maybe) . just want to know so i can use a fuse tap to those fuses. and after that i wont be able to put the cover back on , and if thats ok.
    thanks

You can disconnect the negative on the battery with no issues.
