Intermittent delay/pause upon takeoff

Hello...We are having an issue with my wifes 2012 Prius Four with 130k. After it is warmed up, when taking off or trying to take off, its like the car doesn't get gas for a couple of seconds. For instance, I will go to pull out of our neighborhood, and the darn thing wont go and then if finally gets the signal and it takes off. Sometimes it will do it a couple times in a a day and other days, its just fine. There are no lights or stored codes. I have checked the hybrid battery with Dr Prius and its good. As far as I can tell, it only does it on takeoff. Throwing darts, I just replaced the MAF sensor. It has a new 12v battery. I cleaned the egr/intake and installed a catch can about 8 months ago. It has brand new brakes and rotors. Anybody have any ideas? I would appreciate any help or suggestions before I have to take it to the shop. I'm worries me for my wife and kids to be in it right now. I'm afraid that she will try and pull out in traffic and it will happen and they could get ran over. Thanks
