Yesterday was the 2nd time I've had a problem with the driver door lock. Only happened since its been cold and may be related to no-touch high pressure car wash. 1st time the door wouldn't shut. Manually unlocked it and used buttons but it kept bouncing open took a few minutes but it finally shut. Can't remember if that was a car wash day. Yesterday, washed car in morning and everything fine. Temps in 20's. After I got to work that night, the door wouldn't open - had to exit passenger side. Tried manually locking and unlocking and using buttons but nothing worked. Was fine in morning to go home.
So this happened after the car was washed and the temps are below freezing? And it's the door that will not shut/open right, not the actual lock itself? If that's right then it is simply water freezing keeping the door from opening/closing properly.
yeah. the weird thing was the door worked fine then 10 minutes later I'm at work and it wouldn't open.
