Yes. See page 416 of Owner's Manual, they spec the same coolant, for both "engine" and "power control unit":

Around 4 year mark I needed to top up both reservoirs on ours. Well, they'd fallen a bit below the low marks. A couple of years later they've not lost any more. Of course you have to buy a gallon, and you only need a few ounces. Oh well, can use it at the 10 year mark, when doing coolant change.

 

You mean if you don't trade it in for a PIP. Getting the wheels might be the start of something.

 

Get PIP, take off wheels, throw away car. Toyota makes it SO easy to get decent 15" rims.

Have you seen what those PIP rims retail for?

 

Let me know when you undertake that plan. Might just get into the recycling business .
