Hi guys quick question . I have a 2013 Prius persona 85,000 miles on it. Had the hood open after a oil change and I can hear a loud wine coming from the inverter water pump. If I touch the water line going to the pump I feel a strong vibration and the gas engine is not running. Is this normal at this mileage or should the pump be replaced, Thanks for taking the time to answer
When in Ready mode, the Inverter side of the drive train is activated, and you will hear/sense the inverter coolant operating, regardless of ICE operation. The question is if the sound/vibration is excessive? Can't tell without an actual inspection.
