I would like to buy an 08 Touring with Package #6, XM radio and floor mats. Based on a Consumer Reports report, we estimated the invoice to be: Prius Touring 21970 Pkg #6 3758 Mats 126 XM (retail) 450 ? (from Toyota site) Total 26304 However, a dealer told us the invoice was 27,004. Does anyone know why there would be a difference?
Q: How can you tell when a car salesman is lying? A: His lips are moving. Your numbers are about right (checked on kbb.com). Ask the dealer to show you the invoice. If he's lying, he won't want to do it.
