Just thought I'd share the phone mount that worked for me in my 2023 Prius Prime SE. The first photo is taken from driver perspective. The distance is just right for me to interact with the phone without leaning forward, high enough to keep eyes up by the road, but without blocking the windshield. I chose not to go with magnetic wireless charging for several reasons: Carplay is faster with the wired connection Less heat is generated during charging with the direct connection Wired charging is faster (10w vs 7.5w) It is a magnetic mount that requires a metal disc between the case and phone. The product that I used was pulled from another vehicle and doesn't seem to be available anymore, but there are similar products around.
Nice solution for the SE and that piece of real estate on the entertainment display. I have not liked the wireless charging on the upper trim: the phone has to be aligned just right (which isn't automatic), and the phone does get quite hot, which isn't great for it.
