I got the iPod/USB interface as soon as it was release then was very disappointed by the horrible interface. As other posters have stated, scrolling a page of artist at a time is unusable when you have a few hundred artist. My solution was to create a "second" alphabetic list at the bottom of the main list for all the singles, compilations, playlists, and artists I just don't care about. You can do this by setting the Sort Artist of Britney Spears to "99999 Britney Spears". I wrote the attached jscript so I could mass update the Sort Artist to 99999 on artist that I wanted out, then the jscript will re-append the artist name so that the "second" list is properly alphabetized.
