Obama's proposed budget has reportedly proposed $10k credit for alternate fuel vehicles such as EV and nat gas. Not sure how the details trickle down to your cases. It will be interesting to see if this element of Obamas budget is accepted.
Well My vantage point I see no federal tax relief "if" I got a "phv" or "phev kit" and course that is subject to future lethargic political and legislative process of which I am doubtful. I also see the business models and plans for "phev kits" undergoing some stress. That said Enginer Phev kit which is the simple and low intial cost spectrum versus Plug In Supply kit a some what more expensive cost. Having stated that my tendency and inclinations is more toward a Plug In Supply type product and componets.
