Mine only has been a week but if its lossible, I'd like to get Prius 3 or one with solar roof or one with better stereo... Is it possible? ny salesman isnt answering so I want to find out b4 I break in the dealer lol SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 ? 2
State law will guide you, I do not know what state you are in. I am more used to 3 days as a limit here.
Well "Lossible" was a good written Freudian slip. Yeah check your state laws, but I kind of doubt you have any leverage as far as forcing the dealer to unwind the deal. They sold you...what you at the time wanted to buy. You've changed your mind...not their fault. However, you have an almost brand new vehicle. "Dealer"ships are in the business of making deals. I'm surprised your salesman isn't talking because here is a chance for him to expand the sale. You'd lose money, but here is the chance for the dealership to take in a trade they KNOW is good, and upsell you on a more expensive product. I'm sure you could make it happen, just probably not from the POV of a starting from zero. If you could absorb whatever penalty the dealership would apply for having bought a vehicle, signed the papers and drove off the lot? Then I'm sure it could happen. I'm NOT versed in law in this area. So check. But if it's been a week I sincerely think it's going to be hard for you to get any reversal of the original deal. That doesn't mean you couldn't make a whole new deal. The other reality is although rare I have seen and read about Prius getting sunroofs installed aftermarket. I personally wouldn't do it. A better stereo? That's actually pretty easily addressed aftermarket if you really want to do so and probably at a much cheaper price than buying a whole new vehicle would represent. I wise man once said, there are always options. Unfortunately sometimes they all come with a high degree of cost and compromise.
Depends on the state and any sort of return policy of the dealer (if any) but I never I started which states have a "cooling off"/return period on new cars? | PriusChat long ago... Toyota Sunnyvale | New Toyota dealership in Sunnyvale, CA 94087 has one but I've never taken advantage and don't know the gotchas, if any.
