Is the factory alarm interchangeable?

    I have a 2011 Prius that I had the dealer put a factory alarm on. My brother just bought a used 2011 Prius without an alarm. Is there anyway I can switch my car alarm to his car?

    The factory alarm is pre-installed, the dealer needs to active it through TECHSTREAM
