I know this is a great place but I keep forgetting it is US based. Is there an equivalent UK place as I get confused when reading certain things and people talk about parts and gas (petrol here in UK).

I am also not used to waiting for this activation ring when you post.

There's a good number of regular users on here from the UK.

You could try the Toyota Owners Club | Prius Club, although the information for all generations of Prius is all lumped together, which I don't particularly like. It is also less active, but there are enough people who respond to questions, so that is okay.

Yes, I’m from the UK. I’m Stoke-on-Trent. If you’re on Facebook, there’s a specific UK group.

I'm in Manchester, UK and been here for years.
A Prius is a Prius and the info on here is top class.
I don't see a real problem. If you want to know something that's specifically UK based then just mention it and the UK folk will chip in.
You won't find a better forum than this for the gen 2 Prius.

Use words like tyre, boot, spanner; the Brits’ll come out of the woodwork. :)

Yes the Americans use tire; wrench, trunk etc as we know.
It's weird that different countries have different spellings and words for the same parts.

And really they are only a handful of countries that drive on the left. I think Australia is another but not many.

Sweden switched from left to right side driving, quite the undertaking:
