Is wheel alignment covered by prepaid maint?

    Hello,

    I have both extended warranty and prepaid maintenance package.

    I took my 2007 Prius for scheduled maintenance and got new tires.
    I have been charged $ 80.00 for wheel alignment in addition to cost of tires/installation.

    Shouldn't this be covered by prepaid maintenance package?
    Am I paying double?

    The question is:
    Were you led to believe that getting an alignment was "Scheduled" maintenance?

    You don't need an alignment unless you notice some abnormal wear on your tires or if your car is drifting toward the side when your steering wheel is straight.
