I think those could be from the other campaign. I never send money through a text or email link, seems obvious could be a scam.
I get money FROM politicians during the election season! - but during the Presidential election it's well earned! I should net $300 from 3 separate days: 14-hour Election day followed by a 'normal' 9 hour day on Wed. I will return on the 13th to catch the leakers (&^%$@# Postal System!) We have one local run-off that will net me another $300 for two very short days (2-3 hours total.) I usually celebrate the freedom of our elections by buying a firearm with my bonus cash but this year I'm going to add a little and buy an HF transceiver. GIVE money to politicians?!?! -why? Who would DO that? Besides....it does not seem to be very effective. The person with the most money this last time lost in a near landslide.

Must be nice to have friends in high places, I don't believe Bannon's two co-conspirators fared as well. I usually don't give money; I'll buy them a meal - so they can't use my hard earned cash for drugs or booze.
+1. There's a surprising number of combat wounded veterans who are on the streets. If you know why, you know why. (Think: DVA) Since the military is pretty close to being a pure meritocracy, minorities are over-represented in this group, and thus they face more bias challenges. I always offer them a cup of coffee or a bottle of water. If they decline both then odds are that they're merely 'homeless adjacent' - and the 15 seconds that I talk to them will rapidly weed out the posers. The Deep South is the Saudi Arabia of churches - and every single church that I know of WILL ALWAYS help somebody who wants help, and not just a quick handout. In a nation where over-eating accounts for a majority of our chronic health problems - we have deep 3 freezers and a WELL stocked pantry - because for those in need, 'food insecurity' IS a thing.
