I voted Tom the better actor, but he'd get his butt kicked by Raymond, simply because Raymond goes absolutely NUTS when pushed to the limit... Then again Forrest isn't afraid to just march right on up and keep punching.... hmm...
I never saw Rainman....but I liked Dustin Hoffman in every movie I have ever seen him in...Ditto Tom Hanks
I think it's an inverse proportional thang: The worse the actor, the better he'd do in a fight with other actors. (I'm sure there's an exception, but I'm having a difficult time coming up with it.)
But they're both such excellent actors. How would you decide out which one is less excellent than the other? I voted for scenario #1.
All Gump would have to do is say, “Oh no Raymond! One minute to Wapner!†. . . then just kick the Rain Man in his butt as he scurries off. Fight over. :lol: Besides, Tom is 18+ years younger, is seven inches taller, and probably has 60 pounds on Dustin too.
If you're a Hoffman fan, you really need to go rent (or even buy) Rainman. It is indeed excellent. Also, I'm going to have to assume you never saw Ishtar. :lol:
