Saw the above when I was looking for a magnifier -- seems my old one has disappeared. Appears to be a pretty good deal on Amazon for $9 -- or two for $14.36. It's a "prime" deal only so you have to be a prime member, but shipping is free. If you are not a prime member, you could either poke around and see if any friends are members or find one of the numerous 30-day prime free trial offers -- a quck google should pull that offer up (that's how I am currently a member). kris
16.5X Jeweler's Clip-On Eye Loupe I use these when soldering itty-bitty stuff with bleary old eyes. They're pretty cheesy, but they're ALSO only $5 and they seem to work fairly well. Non-illuminated tho.
I have used several "Asian" loupes, 10x to 30x, and could not recommend any of them. Instead of buying a couple lottery tickets consider Bausch & Lomb, or the Russkies: BelOMO 10x Triplet Loupe Magnifier - US Geological Supply As an alternative, go full-on dentist: == What the heck do you need 60x for anyway?
