Very nice pics and sounds like a great time!! another cool place to visit in Arizona is The Hubble Trading post, it is /was a real trading post the indians used to barter and sell their wares. it is up Northern AZ . Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site is located one mile west of Ganado, on U.S. Highway 264. Visitors traveling on I-40 can take U.S. Highway 191 North to Ganado. If you are traveling from Gallup, New Mexico, you can take U.S. Highway 491 North to U.S. Highway 264 going West toward Ganado, via Window Rock, Arizona.

Thanks so much for posting. It's a trip I always wanted to take, but as a mid-60's widow I probably never will - even in my Prius. Needless to say - I am envious.
I was going to show my wife your wonderful pictures, but for some reason they seem to have gone away. Hope you can get them and some others where we can see them. You really had the perfect trip. Since we live in Tulsa, we go past the Blue Whale from time to time. Congratulations again on your trip and I am sure the memories will last you a lifetime.
