I tried both the PIE (TOYAUX03) and the Soundgate (AUXTOY1) adapters back in July - neither one worked. At the time I ordered Soundgate was claiming compatability, but it evidently had not been tested. I had an e-mail exchange afterwards with technical support who stated that the Prius radio was different from the other Toyotas. I don't know if they subsequently have updated their products or not.
Re: [ KB ] What is the best way to hook an Ipod (or other mp What package (stereo) do you have? Do you have NAV? Nate
Re: [ KB ] What is the best way to hook an Ipod (or other mp My ipod works fine with the iTrip in the 2004 with the nav system. Fits nicely in the front cup center console holder which gives it good proximity to the radio. In our 2002 prius, I set the ipod sticking itrip outwards (the short way) on the display inset shelf, otherwise reception was spotty. Bought a firewire car adapter for $10 (I have an original ipod) and it will go forever or at least the 10 hours to my parents' house. I do wish the Prius offered satellite radio, if I had to make a list of complaints that would be one or two on the list.
Re: [ KB ] What is the best way to hook an Ipod (or other mp PLease read the FAQ. You can get a genuine Toyota XM radio satellite radio kit for it. Nate
Re: [ KB ] What is the best way to hook an Ipod (or other mp Looks like icelink is no longer available for Toyota. May have to wait for coastaletech to come out with something. Glenn
