Rough times. My catalytic converter was stolen 2 months ago -$2300. Just replaced my 12v -$200. Jut did breaks. Now car is having hard time going up hills and All warning lights are on. Took out HIV battery and found all cells at 8.1 except one is at 6.7v I also found water in the back 12v well and used silicone to seal it up and did a hack job painting over rust. Taking out HIV battery I've found some rust in other areas. Car's in CA coast area. Wondering if I should bother trying one replacing one cell or get a green battery. I don't see many people posting results after a few months about doing 1 cell. I feel like scraping the carl but I just dumped all this money into it. Thanks for your thoughts.
both good options. after it's up and running, then consider if you want to sell. might even be worth a brand spanking new battery for $1,600. at 156k, but they will probably steal the cat again
