Kick back from start

    It doesn't happen all the time but when I press the start button sometimes, it kicks back a lil.
    Almost as if it's started another motor.
    Anyone else experience this sort of a kick?

    yes, there's some tranny movement against the parking pawl. some like to use the parking brake.

    might depend on incline somewhat.

    Happens with my 2010 III sometimes too. In fact, just today I was eating my lunch in the car while parked on a flat parking lot. It was a bit cold, so heat was running....ran battery down so ICE Kicked on and the car moved so much that I put my foot on the brake! Doesn't happen all the time...very random
