http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachus...ailed_abortion/ I thought this article was fairly interesting, and thought others would too. Apparently the lady attempted to have an abortion, and afterwards a doctor failed to detect the pregnancy, even though she was still pregnant. From there, she gave birth and has raised the kid over the past two years, but now wants child rearing costs from the two doctors in question. Personally, i find this rather reprehensible. Yes, the doctors should be held accountable for their mistakes. I would think medical bills associated with the pregnancy past the abortion would be reasonable. However, if the lady didn't want the child, she could have given it up for adoption and been done with it. It was her personal choice to keep the child after the failed abortion attempt - We shouldn't be awarding people free rides on choices like that.
