Ed Bagley went up to see Larry's ranch in one of the episodes. A truly impressive house that is truly impressively green.

Hagman's always had the reputation of being an eccentric whackjob. (And it's Begley, not Bagley. Jr. actually. Ed Begley Sr. was a famous comedian and actor.)
Actually, he has dropped the "Jr." He gave me his business card which no longer has the "Jr" on it. It also says "Since 1949". Nate
1949 must be the year he was born since his Dad lived long enough to do "Mary Poppins" in the 60s. He was still Jr. when he did St. Elsewhere. I guess with Dad gone no reason to keep using it.
I don't see how owning 5 Prius is green but since I don't know all the details I can't judge. Being sustainable doesn't mean going out and buying all the "green" crap you can. It is still consumption and is a negative in most ways.
