Prius 2005. Last night it started flashing the welcome screen on and off and the screen button's wouldn't work, audio, climate, ect. I drove it latter and it worked, but today the screen just goes black.
This sounds like the dreaded MFD failure on the earlier Gen II Prius. There is a connection on the MFD circuit board that fails over time. You can re-solder the connection yourself, or have it fixed by one of our PriusChat members.
