2008 prius lease end this month...plan to purchase the vehicle. Dealer indicates that vehicle inspection (not cosmetic to turn it in) is needed for them to be sure the car is safe for me to buy from toyota...2 hours needed in addition to routine maintainence... Is this legit? they are trying hard to get me to extend lease in order to get me into a new prius when available... thanks.
