I have been switching my company cars over to the Prius as the old ones age out. I'm doing this because of fuel and maintenance .. with long ownership, high yearly miles and exceptional resale at the 6-7 year mark -- the higher initial cost works out. I don't see any of these occurring with a lease. Plus Toyota is offering 0% for 6 years. Why are you leasing? ... we bought an off lease car last year -- car had 25k on it at three years at 3 years .... The owner paid a premium for the Prius and then did not use what it was built for. I only lease vehicles when the manufacturer is throwing a lot of money at the lease -- and the "buy out" number works for overall savings vs a buy. I did this last year on a Lexus CT.
