Leather Seat Showing Wear from Seat Belt

    I've only had my Prius since March and noticed that the side of the leather seat is already showing wear, probably from the seat belt. While I have 13,000 miles on it, I typically put 190 miles/day going to and from work, so it hasn't had a lot of use.

    Anyone else with the same problem? Is this typical, normal wear and tear? Can I expect any warranty help from Toyota?

    I don't know why, but I have had that problem in every car I have owned for the past 15 years, except the Prius. Not a hint of a problem and I have had the car since last December, but I don't have as many miles as you do. I would think it has more to do with hooking and unhooking the seat belt and I do that several times a day, every day.
