Hello, I want to upgrade all my bulbs from filament to LED. Is there anything I should be concerned with? Is there anything i need to upgrade to make it work?
Interior bulbs? There are kits, or you can buy piecemeal. If replacing exterior bulbs, you might have problems with hyper flashing due to the low resistance of LED bulbs compared to the stock incandescent bulbs. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I'm with you there. Most people here who does aftermarket DIY led / hid conversion don't know how to set the cutoff / reaim and blinds whoever driving the opposite direction.
I have always changed out my interior bulbs when I get a new vehicle. In my case, I order my interior/exterior bulbs from Diode Dynamics. My headlights this time I went with XenonHIDS. I have not swapped the bulbs for blinkers to LED because I just never have wanted to. I have made the LED brake lights on my G37 be the blinkers and not used the filament bulb with a kit. I do and have always ensured that I am not blinding people with my headlight conversions but not everyone does that.
Since headlights were not specifically mentioned, I assumed he is talking about the OTHER light bulbs. Guess we need a clarification.
Hello, I asked this a long time ago, but I thought I would revive this thread to see if anybody has any updates? To answer one poster’s question, I am specifically asking about upgrading the headlights and marker lights on the front.
