I have a non-HID, halogen bulb prius. I've switched tried Silverstars, and Phillips ultra-crystal vision. I'm now using Phillips x-treem power bulbs, and the light output is awesome! But I'm always on the lookout for something better. has anyone tried a LED bulb like this? eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices
With parking lights it would be fine but I would not use these types of LEDs as headlight bulbs (low beam or high beam). I remember this conversation from some place else and the consensus was that LED bulb for the headlights (especially w/o reflashing the LCM) would be pretty ineffective.
yeah LED's don't project light out at all.....they look bright but don't project any useable light output to the road you can run them as fogs tho (more for look than anything else)
Better to just man up and do a real retrofit with projectors. They are even brighter than the Geniii OEM LED headlights.
