LED JDM Mirrors - anyone install on US spec yet?

It's seems like there's a lot of people who want to install the JDM LED mirrors on their Prius, but I haven't found a post yet where someone has done it and contributed a walk-through. It's one of the first things that I want to do when my Prius feels like showing up and I am wondering how easy it is to tap into the turn signal and where the best point to do that would be.
