I just started replacing a few bulbs around the house with LED starting with my bedroom. I bought 2 GE 60watt daylight dimmable 2 packs from walmart for $6.54 per pack, price matched from their app. Huge difference in brightness and in power draw. Being a geek that I am, I decided to test the bulbs against other bulbs I have around the house.

Test criteria, light sensor app on phone. Phone placed on the bed directly below the light fixture about 5.5ft away from the bulb. Blinds closed, ambient light @ 0lx. FCL bulbs were given 1 minute for warm up before the result is recorded. power draw was measured using a Kill-A-Watt with a socket adapter. This is the result. You can use this site to convert lx to lm.

60 watt G25 decorative incandescent bulb unk brand probably rated at around 500 lumen - This is from bathroom that came with the house
    draws 52.5w, brightness 14lx

60 watt non dimmable CFL Ecosmart EDXO-14 rated at 14 watts 800 lumens 5000K - This is my old bulb that I replaced.
    draws 14.9 watts, brightness 47lx

60 watt dimmable LED GE LED11DAV3 rated at 10.5 watts 850 lumens 5000k - This is the new replacement bulb.
draws 12 watts, brightness 66lx - This bulb is probably equates to a 75 watt CFL bulb.

40 watt non dimmable LED Great Value GVRLA550ND rated at 5 watts 500 lumens 5000k - highest lumen 40 watt bulb using the least power I could easily find. All other 40 watt bulbs were rated at 6-7 watts and 250-450 lumens. This is the best bang for the buck at $2.18 per bulb after price match on their app.
    draws 4.5 watts, brightness 36lx

100 watt non dimmable CFL Ecosmart EDXO-23 rated at 23 watts 1600 lumens 5000k - Tested just for kicks
