I'm not a RV4 owner, but it will likely depend on individual zoning. I was able to get larger 440 circuit installed with a 5 day wait for approval in austin for something completely different. The city owns the utility and it goes out of its way to encourage green projects like electric cars, especially if they are charged at night off peak. I'm sure other municipalities don't even know what the paperwork is to install these things. So ir will vary quite a bit. Some of those long waits for appoval just show how slow some governments are. I hope you are in a more enlightened place if you want a plug-in or an ev.
