As the future begins looking brighter & brighter for the resurrection of the EV, it seems there's an alleged copy-cat. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/15/technology/15tesla.html?_r=2&th&emc=th&oref=slogin&oref=slogin My concern is that a legal distraction will strain funds that could best be put into R&D for the less expensive WhiteStar EV to be built down the road. I'd probably sound jaded if I dared to suspect that one or more of the major auto makers is backing the copycat ... or at least their legal defense.
I'd read this story already. I'm not sure Fisker has the backing of a major automaker, but it seems that he's willing to stab Tesla in the back for his own ends, now doesn't it?
Yep. My fealing was that I wouldn't want to buy from a company that majored in what appears to be low integrity issues.
