letz remove/redesign the entire fake shifter console

    the entire shifter console is fake. except for the park setting, itz just electric switches. the park setting has some kind of you must step on the brake to move it from 'P' to another setting. that whole middle console takes up too much space. lets remove most of it. . maybe a real set of cupholders in itz place. or just leave it empty. any ideas on how to replace it ? please feel free to share.

    If you are really skilled, you could get the regular prius button gear selector and try to retro fit that. Just looks like too much work.

    It seems like a lot of work to solve what? What would you do with the space, that is really not that much space to begin with.......
