Montreal, Quebec - Lexus has debuted its most sophisticated flagship vehicle, the 2008 Lexus LS 600hL, at the Montreal International Auto Show. The luxury long-wheelbase sedan, scheduled to arrive in Canada in the Spring, is the world's first vehicle to feature a full-hybrid V8 powertrain. The LS 600hL features a 5.0-litre V8 engine coupled to large, high-output electric motors and a newly designed large-capacity battery pack. The company says it provides performance on par with a V12 engine but returns best-in-class V8 fuel efficiency and a fraction of the emissions of a conventionally powered vehicle. It is expected to achieve a Tier 2 Bin 3 emissions rating, meaning it will generate nearly 70 per cent fewer emissions than the cleanest of its competitors. The LS hybrid features full-time all-wheel drive and a new dual-stage electronically-controlled continuously variable transmission (CVT). Source: CanadianDriver

Isn't that like the RXh and HiHy and Estima? All have 4WD-i. I don't know if the LSh is any different.
