This time it's more loose and afraid if I use epoxy again in same exact spot it won't. Adhere the Same? Dealer wants about $380 total for everything. First, may I suggest that you stop thinking of that "trim plate" as a handle. You've already learned that part cannot withstand the stresses involved in raising the hatch. Instead, move the hatch just a couple of inches upwards, then put your hand underneath the hatch metal to do the rest of the lifting.
