I've seen the weather tech cargo liner for the trunk, but has anyone seen a solution for protecting the back of the back seats when they are folded down?
I picked up a 4x6' commercial type rubber mat with carpet imbedded, at Lowes. A couple quick cuts for the wheel wells and it fits perfect. Covers everything from the hatch, over the back seats and also covers the front of the folded down seats. It keeps muddy paws off of everything. Cheap too, and you can just hose it off.
Old shag rug from the '70s. Goes up on the back of the front seats, up the sides, over the rear wheel wells and allows Xmas trees, yard refuse bags, etc to be hauled. When done, slide the rug out and shake out.
Well I just signed up so it won't let me post a link, but you can find the link on another thread from 2009 in this forum titled 'Cargo liner for use with seats down?' I just bought a new prius ('totaled' my 2nd gen) today and I'm thinking about getting that one for use with my big dumb dog
Canvasback Custom Cargo Liners Home Page Custom fit. Great product. Don't know if they make one for the v, but it wouldn't hurt to ask
I'm just taking the plastic backs off and covering them with light automotive carpeting using spray-on contact cement. Looks better and no more fuss when loading.
