Our 2010's head gasket is on it's way out. Used K-seal about 18 months ago and it worked for a while, but now the same head gasket issues are back, and since coolant has been mixing with the oil for who knows how long, I'd rather change the engine than do the head gasket. By the way, when we first had the "morning shudder" on startup, I took it to a local mechanic (in California, long story) and the EGR was CLOGGED 99% - that was at maybe 200k miles. They cleaned it for $800, but of course it was already too late...the gasket was no longer in good shape. Anyway... Anyone know a good mechanic in ABQ that isn't too expensive? What is it, a 14-hour job by the book? Thanks...
