I'm trying to round up the early style painted upper and lower glove box the curved piece that houses the power button and it's lower panel than houses the hood release I need all this stuff for a car I'm putting back together and I don't have these pieces and I'd like to have the early style painted pieces in the black cherry look color . But I'll take whatever color you got I can paint them let me know

Beware those early style pieces also require the early style dash vents, otherwise the mount grooves don't match up and the trim will not fit flush (at least on the driver side, the pass side is identical iirc)

Geez now I'll have to go out and look at my other late '07 car that I took all the painted pieces out of and put on its dash as well as the two front door panels and they all popped right on and everything works and I didn't never notice the vents were messed up I guess maybe I do have the '05 vents in place I know they're from the aftermarket they're newer plastic but copies of the Toyota pieces.

I believe the aftermarket vents are modeled after the early model, so the smooth trim pieces should work. I've had a couple 07 and 08s where I installed the aftermarket vents and had to install the early model trim (the piece with power button). The 07/08 trim would stick up about 1/8th inch due to not fitting correctly.

Very cool I'll have to look at that I have this exact situation in the '09 I drive daily for the glove box and the two panels right in front of me driving I like the painted look of those panels especially with a gold car with the black cherry illuminized looking paint on those four pieces. Then I got a gray interior car black exterior '05 that had the door panels with the black cherry paint on the top instead of the vinyl over the foam grainy stuff. Made the car look a lot better and you can wipe that paint off that grainy vinyl your rag just leaves deposits of the rag all in it doesn't wipe very well
