    Hi

I have lost my keys and then forgot and hit the power off button. I immediately pushed it on again and it came on. Is there a time period it will do that without the key fob? Or does this mean my lost keys are somewhere in this car. I have searched it like the police looking for drugs but can't find. I got the extra fob from home and the battery was dead, put new battery and was told by ACE hardware that it needs to be programed.

It shouldn't. Your fob is within range of the interior sensor.

That being said, if that was the case, you wouldn't be able to lock the car from the outside either because the car senses a key inside.

Ugh I don't know what to do. I cannot locate the keys. The other key fob that I put new battery in won't lock or unlock doors or blow horn. I searched car from top to bottom.
Also the other night I worked all night with my car left at our yard and my keys with me miles from my car. I left the car on and it was running all night. I'm not used to the no sound of motor.

Also I watched a video where you can lock your door with the on with ac using the manual key so it will still be running with ac on.

That's correct. Have you been doing that? If you've been able to lock via another fob, then maybe there isn't a fob inside.
