"The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" (2001) (abbreviated- lotr : fotr) is a movie adapted from J.R.R. Tolkien's Hobbit story series. In our world of joyous extremes, movies like "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" (MMBT) and LOTR:FOTR stand out as representative of our concerns and fears. Of course, I like watching 'obviously symbolic' movies because of the comedy factor - you can make fun of the stories or watch seriously with your significant other. So, will Max and the Hobbit find their precious resources or will the Earth refuse to 'offer' up its oil and water??
I'm not sure where you're going with this, but Hobbit's first step might be to convince Max to slow down a little on those outback roads... . _H*
