I noticed my Prius has no traces of grease anywhere on the door catches and hinges. Everything is bright shiny and clean. My older car I used to spray with silicone spray lube. I checked the manuals but can not see anything regarding lubing of any door hinges or catches. Is there some kind of special coating on them that requires no need for lubricant?
